Expert Tip

For maximum potency, always use freshly brewed tea. The antioxidants (anthocyanins in Purple Tea and EGCG in Green Tea) are most bioavailable when the brew is fresh and consumed within 30 minutes of steeping.

Green Tea + Purple Tea Cognitive Focus · Memory · Neuroprotection · Mental Fatigue Purple tea's anthocyanins are among the only plant compounds proven to cross the blood-brain barrier and directly raise glutathione levels in brain tissue — clearing the oxidative debris that accumulates from stress, poor sleep, and cognitive overload. Green tea's EGCG inhibits beta-amyloid plaque formation, the protein aggregations associated with Alzheimer's — and population studies consistently show green tea drinkers have significantly lower rates of dementia. Peppermint increases cerebral blood flow and improves working memory and reaction time within 20 minutes. Rosemary contains 1,8-cineole, which inhibits the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine — the neurotransmitter of memory — through the same mechanism as leading Alzheimer's medications, but delivered in a cup. Fresh lemon is not optional garnish: citric acid increases EGCG absorption by up to thirteen times.
