Tea is a botanical product, and like all vegetables, it begins to degrade the moment it is harvested. In the global tea trade, leaves often sit in shipping containers for months. mediFRESH is different.
The Oxidation Clock
The moment a tea leaf is plucked, enzymes (polyphenol oxidase) begin to break down the healthy antioxidants inside. If those leaves aren't "fixed" (heated) quickly, they lose their medicinal potency.
The 12-Hour Journey
We adhere to a strict "Pluck-to-Factory" rule. Our leaves are transported from the high-altitude gardens to the processing facility within 12 hours. This speed preserves the volatile aromatic compounds and the fragile catechins (like EGCG) that make Green and Purple tea so healthy.
Did You Know?
The characteristic "green" smell of high-quality tea is actually the scent of fresh hexenols—molecules that evaporate quickly. If your tea smells like cardboard, it’s old. If it smells like a garden, it’s fresh.
Quality You Can Taste
By cutting out the middlemen and prioritizing speed, we ensure that the cup of tea in your hand contains the same nutrient profile as the leaf on the bush yesterday morning.
